Phantom Empire, The

A 12 chapter Mascot Pictures serial starring Gene Autry that somehow managed to mingle westerns, science fiction, and a musical. A strange mix that isn't always successful, but is still somewhat interesting. Autry runs 'Radio Ranch' as the Singing Cowboy, and is constantly doing musical numbers in between his adventures. He discovers a weird underground advanced civilization. The underground kingdom is in danger from revolutionaries within and secret agents from without.
