Twilight Zone, The

1959 to 1964

Definitely the most popular and well-known science fiction anthology show of all time, The Twilight Zone ran for 5 seasons, from 1959 to 1964. The series host and creator, Rod Serling, gave it an unusual and distinctive flair, and wrote many of it's most famous stories. The series featured a mixture of science fiction stories and fantasy stories that often bordered on horror. Definitely one of the best and most memorable scifi TV shows of the 1960s.
